This morning I had a tumor taken out of my neck for the fifth time, and again I'm singing the Kaiser praises:

Checked in at 7:30 for pre-op, headed into the OR around 9, was back in post-op and waking up by 10:15, dismissed at 11:30, stopped by Denny's for a quick lunch, then home in bed by about 1.

Summer School 2013

So, I'm doing summer school again this year, but it's not nearly as fun as last year because I'm not going anywhere fun in July like I did last year.  I'm moving instead.  Woe. 

Anyway, it's a living. 

Costume College!

Costume College happens every summer down in SoCal and I've been drooling to go ever since I heard about it.  for some reason I thought it was hugely expensive, and was surprised to find--once I actually checked--that it's not, at all. So I sent my check and got the packet in the mail today.  I plan to peruse it in the car on the way down to Load for Ravenswood. Can't wait.
